"Moved by Media"

Have you ever wonder the power of media to influence one's minds and his whole being? Have you ever notice the great consequences of irresponsible media communications which in turn affect one's personality and behavior? Basically, mass media is indeed a mighty influential factor to our technological and modern society. The worst thing is that media shapes and even builds a strong supremacy to one's thought that will eventually influences one's character. Living in  an advance world of systematic and complex transmission of organize and well-informed data and facts, no one could ever deny the perception of media and its great influential powers to dominate our minds and sometimes our personal decisions.

As an adolescent young men, I would probably consider media as a strong foundation to one's thought in which in turn affects one's character. Even I myself was depending to media in terms of gathering significant facts and information needed to my personal as well as academic demands. Without the presence of media, how could I ever know the news in other parts of the globe or even to my society which maybe an important one to know? How could I ever exchange what I wanted to share about my feelings and thoughts to somebody in distant places without using communication devices or internet connection? These questions are the things that circles my mind without media. Also, the fact that media influences my thought and eventually my character is something self explanatory. Take as an instance. Whenever I was dealing much with media, I could easily apply it to myself. Watching a television drama is an example. When I watch that the protagonist in the story works hard in order  to become successful person someday, there is a big possibility that it could influence my thought to work hard also in order to become a successful man. Because I watch that drama, I was moved by the character's personality which in turn influence my thought to become what he character is. This time, my thoughts has been influence by media and the result would probably also influence my character. It only shows that media connects mostly to our own perception and emotions.

Media is a living proof that no man is an island. The influential media turns its power to everyone , whether they like it or not. It is unavoidable. Nevertheless, media is a moving power.

In the end, whenever we could find ourselves keep in touch to the tentacles of media, we should be able to comprehend and understand that media could influence our thought and character just in two ways -  in turn to good or in  turn to get bad. But being a person close to media is a great responsibility. One should be witty enough to understand the consequences and the circumstances he could get whenever he deals with media. One should be strong enough to face the following pressures and chain reaction he might get whenever he turn media in an irresponsible action. One should be mindful enough to create the best and wise decision needed to become a responsible person dealing much to media.

In this sense, no one could ever deny the influential power of media to mankind. We must be a responsible person - a person who was moved by media.
